This newly renovated condo in the Summit complex lets you come home to a roaring fire and beautiful sunsets over the mountains after a day on the slopes at Snowshoe. We have installed brand new floors throughout, and have brought in furniture and fixtures to make sure your stay is relaxing and comfortable. The unfinished pine trim gives the feeling of being in a mountain lodge. Using a large set of stairs , the condo is within walking distance to Snowshoe's Village where you can find excellent restaurants and charming shops, as well as a Starbucks to warm yourself up. There is also a free shuttle that takes you to both the slopes and the Village if you would prefer not to walk up the large set of stairs to get there. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy and convenient to make a family meal with range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, etc. Cooking utensils, dishes and spices are also provided. If you prefer to leave the hassle of cooking behind, the restaurants in the Village are a short walk or free shuttle ride away. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a large dresser, and a full bath with a double vanity. The second bedroom has a full bed, and a large dresser. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds for four kids. The large family room has a 46' flat screen with a DVD player, although we are limited to Snowshoe's cable offerings which do not include HD. But the highlight of the condo is a gas fireplace to warm up your toes in the evening. There is a dining table that fits 8 people that sits next to the window, affording you the chance to enjoy the beautiful view. The deck right off the living area faces west to enjoy the beautiful vista. A washer and dryer are in the condo, to dry out any wet ski clothes, and some simple amenities such as spices and coffee make all the difference when you are away from home. Parking couldn't be more convenient, no need to unload and then drive off to a far off parking lot as there is parking right in front of the condo. If you are considering a vacation at Snowshoe Mountain, you already know that it is recognized as the premier ski resort in the Southeast, and boasts an average snowfall of over 15 feet. There is a luxurious spa that opened for the 2013 season, plus night clubs with live bands, dancing and a comedy club. Don't overlook the summer months, they are more breathtaking than the winter. There are dozens of hiking and biking trails, mountain streams for fly fishing, and beautiful scenic drives.
