Minutes away is Port Largo - scuba diving, deep sea fishing, snorkel trips, glass- bottom boat trips. Just south is Islamorada, a mecca for fishing and shopping. Get Going!: This property is situated within reach of several recreation areas: the beaches and night-life of Miami, the fascinating and seductive Everglades National Park and environs, and the glittery fun-filled city of Key West. Each a wonderful day trip! The best scuba diving and snorkeling in the world is five minutes away - a boat trip from Port Largo or at the National Marine Sanctuary and John Pennekamp Park. Embark on an adventurous deep sea fishing expedition or quietly glide through the Florida flats on a bone fishing charter! Get Lazy!: Swim or float in two pools, watch the sun go down from the Sunset Dock (margarita suggested), cast a fishing lure and see what happens. Paddle slowly through mangrove forests watching for birds and manatees. Count the tiny geckos and lizards on the coconut palms outside your slider windows...
