Description

We offer a peaceful getaway in a quaint log cabin. The suite accommodates 4 and is located on the lower level of the owner's home. Our location provides for both the adventurous, and for the traveller looking to de-stress to the sound of a trickling creek. The chalet has a newly refurbished kitchen, and ensuite bathroom. After a long day in the great outdoors our queen size bed will comfort your weary bones to sleep. In the morning fresh ground coffee, teas, hot chocolate and breads will help you welcome a new day of activities. Cross-country ski straight out of the door or head to the ski lifts just a few blocks away. Try your luck panning for gold at Crow Creek Mine or hike the Chugach National Forest. Pick up this year's gifts at any of the many local artist craft shops. Other sites worthwhile visiting like Portage glacier, Whittier, Seward are all within short driving distance. For lazier days you can relax in front of the TV, playing the WII or reading one of our many books or just enjoy the company of good friends on the patio and barbecue to the backdrop of Mt. Alyeska.
