Jungle Gem is a private, fenced and gated 2 story property located in the Gulf beaches area of beautiful St. George Island,Florida. The home is a 3 minute walk to the beach or to the bay. Upon entering the property through your private gate, you will first notice the lush vegetation and then the beautiful, large screened-in private pool beaconing you to take a dip upon arrival. There is a 4 person hot tub adjacent to the pool that serves to relieve those aches, pains, and stress caused by everyday life. Comfortable chaise lounges, table and chairs with umbrella, and potted citrus trees surround the pool to enhance your total experience. There is the Pool Room which is a half bath, changing room , and includes a full size refrigerator with ice maker. On the first floor, a screened porch with deep seated rattan chairs and a dining area, allows you to enjoy the sounds and breezes of the Gulf and bay throughout the day. An unsurpassed view of the wetlands and bay, contribute to make this room a truly unique experience. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms , a king and a queen with a shared bathroom. The queen bedroom opens to the screened porch and the king bedroom has a wonderful view of the wetlands and Appalachicola Bay. Included on this level is the main living area. There is a well-appointed kitchen, equipped for the accomplished home cook, with an adjacent open dining area. Comfortable leather furnishings including a 55 inch Smart television, complete with Netflix and Pandora, adorn the living room. You can enjoy the beautiful island sunrise while having that first cup of coffee from the spacious wrap around porch. The top floor master has a bath with a large jetted garden tub and shower. The decor is reminiscent of the West Indies evoking the peaceful, sensual feeling of island life. A covered porch overlooks the tops of pines creating the illusion of being in your own private treehouse.
