This house is directly on the ocean with a private beach in a residential area - no condos or high rises. Just across the street is a 400' deep water private dock on the Indian River. The area holds some of the best fishing in the world. Bring your boat or rent a boat and ride just 3 miles to the Sebastian Inlet - renowned for Snook fishing and your access to the Atlantic, or you can just fish off the dock. Enjoy sunrises from the back deck and sunsets from the front. The home is situated on a large, private lot with lush landscaping. The beach itself is beautiful and very private - it is not unusual to not see anyone else on the beach. It is a piece of paradise. The house itself is comfortable and family friendly with modern conveniences. The main floor consists of the master suite, kitchen, dining and living rooms, and 1/2 bath. There are great views of the ocean and river from this level. Upstairs has a bedroom with a king size bed and a bedroom with 2 twin beds as well as a full bath. Both the front and back of the house have great decks for sitting outside and enjoying the breathtaking views. This property is conveniently located to all that Vero and it's surrounding areas have to offer. Orlando is 1-1/2 hours drive and West Palm Beach is an hour drive. Vero Beach was rated the best small town in Florida and 12th in the nation and was named one of the 100 best art towns in America. There are numerous parks in the area, and some great restaurants across the river in Sebastian. We often take our boat directly across the river to Captain Hiram's' - a local favorite. The Mclarty Museum is within walking distance and a great place to learn about the sunken spanish fleet just off the coast. One visit there and you'll catch the 'fever' for treasure hunting! Fishing, boating, diving, surfing, relaxing and walking on the beach - you can do it all from this property! The stretch of beach behind the house is also a popular sea turtle nesting area. The house is completely furnished with all the conveniences of a vacation home including a washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, linens, 40' flat screen television with DirecTV, beach chairs, kayaks, boogie boards, bikes, fishing rods, wi-fi, towels, and much more. Our family has enjoyed all that the area has to offer and we rent the property in hopes that others will enjoy it as much as we do!! Maid service is available for a fee upon request.
