Cute 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at A Place at the Beach, Atlantic Beach, NC. Master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with DVD player and cable TV. Second bedroom has a double bed and twin bunk beds. Livingroom has cable TV with DVD player. A small selection of DVD movies are provided. Free WiFi. There is a large outdoor pool with a 150' water slide! The outdoor pool also has a 1 foot wading area that is ideal for small children. The complex also provides a heated indoor pool, whirlpool, a 9 hole miniature golf course (free for guests), ping pong table, shuffle board, tennis courts, basketball court, playground area, and game room. There is also a grass covered courtyard area that is perfect for throwing frisbees or playing ball. There are covered gas grills by the indoor pool and charcoal barbeque grills in the courtyard for your use. A Place at the Beach provides a handicap accessible boardwalk to the beach. You can sit and relax in the shade under the boardwalk's gazebo. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. They can assist you with information on local attractions and rentals. Popular nearby attractions include the NC Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park, Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Morehead City Waterfront, Historic Beaufort, NC Maritime Museum, golfing, deep sea fishing, surf fishing, and scenic boat tours. You can rent bikes, kayaks, surf boards, and stand up paddle boards in the area. There are also grocery stores, surf shops, a movie theater, and great restaurants conveniently located. Ask us about some of our favorite places to eat! A small snack/gift shop is located on site as well. New laminate flooring in kitchen, living room, and bedrooms was completed in July 2013. Ceramic tile was placed in master bath in January 2012. A new full size (double) mattress was purchased in May 2012. New bed comforters and linens were purchased for our unit in Sept. 2011. Sofas were recovered in Jan 2010 and professionally cleaned in June 2012 . The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and has new appliances. Cook in and save money! A Laundromat is on site at the complex. There are 2 Shorewood roundback chairs on the balcony. Our unit also provides 3 beach chairs, skim boards, boogie boards, and a rolling beach cart for your use. Linens are provided with no additional charge (beach towels are not included). The unit is located on the first floor and has easy access for carrying luggage and groceries. A Place at the Beach is an ocean front condo complex. Our unit does NOT have an ocean view. Our unit faces the parking lot by the indoor pool. This is a great place to relax with your family and friends. The complex offers something for people of all ages.
