Escape 2 nights or 2 weeks - or more - for a lifetime of memories! Creekside is a fully-furnished, modern & immaculate, family-owned guesthouse located on a wooded hillside above a crystal-clear trout stream. It's an ideal choice for a 2 night get-away or - better yet - a weekly, long-term rental. We even let you bring your beloved K9(s) - why leave them behind? Bring your fly rods and fish for our Native Brook, wild Brown or wily Rainbow Trout, or your canoes and kayaks so you can ride the currents, or maybe a tube or two for easy riding. Wade a few minutes in shallow water downstream and there's a wide, deep - typically 8 to 10 foot deep - 'swimming hole,' where you and your loved ones, and your K9s(!) can play and swim in the water. Most years, we even have perfect-for-sun bathing, warm-and-relaxing sandbar beaches you can stretch out on, And we leave out lawn chairs for you to use if you want to sit up and read, or 'do' a picnic, or ...... just sit and stare off into space without being interrupted by anyone or anything. We've dedicated a whole acre of land around the house just for our guests to use, so Creekside's a very quiet, very private get-away location for all ages. Yet we're an easy drive to state & county lakes, parks, trails, golfing, shopping & dining. You can go scuba diving at Wazee Lake, try your luck at Majestic Pines Casino, golf at a great course right in Black River Falls or walk the 4 mile Heritage Trail around the city. Our road is part of a Township-approved ATV route that links right up to the 235 mile Jackson/Clark County ATV/Dual-Sport Motorcycle Trail. We provide safe, off-road parking for your rigs & trailers close to house, with NO 'extra-vehicle' charges. You can get on your rigs at the house, take one of our driveways out to Dodge Road, then drive straight to the Trail 6 section of the two-County system. Do note: the Township ATV route we're on isn't shown on the printed and online ATV maps Jackson County provides! Ask us to email you the current Township ATV route map so you can see exactly where we're located. The house is a modern, two bedroom, two full bath mobile home that's open Mid April thru January, and comes complete with central heat & A/C, a well-appointed kitchen, full laundry, and comfortable, clean furniture throughout. DISH 250 Channel TV Programming and WIFI internet service is provided free-of-charge. Five guests can sleep comfortably on beds in the house, another on the sofa bed in the living room plus there's also a full-size ('fit for two') Lane sofa bed down in the furnished screen house. Just about the only things you'll need to bring are cell phones, big beach towels and extra large bath towels (if you prefer them) charcoal and flashlights. We'll make up the beds for you (unless you'd rather bring your own linens) or - if time is short between bookings - we'll leave out sheets sets for you to use. Talking about the screen house: Pretend you're roughing it when you're not!: Guests who want relax 'outside' without ever worrying about bugs are going to love our unique 12 x 14 framed screen house we've named The Bird House. We built it close enough to the creek so you can watch the water flow by and listen to the 'water music' without even getting out of your chair. Read, play cards, get caught up on family news, bring down a picnic basket from the house, watch your spouse fly-fish the creek, or your kids play in the water. Work on crafts, or just sit down there and and do nothing. We provide the pillows, blankets, comforter and sheets for the full-size, very comfortable davenport sleeper. Smoking isn't allowed in the guesthouse, but it is allowed on the open entry porch, on the decks and in The Bird House. Our rates are based on 5 overnight guests in April & May and, October through January, and 7 overnight guests June through September.
