The aspen trees, deer and fox; the spacious, warm and inviting home; and the private neighborhood setting only steps to the slopes all combine to create an ideal retreat where family and friends will gather year after year. Our beautiful log home has ski-in access and is the perfect ski retreat or summer getaway for your family or ski group. It is conveniently located 2 blocks to the base of Peak 8, where Breckenridge Ski Resort kicks off its skiing and snowboarding for the winter season. In the summer, go wild with the whole family at the Peak 8 Fun Park which features activities for all ages including the SuperSlides, Mountain Biking, SuperPutt Mini Golf, SuperBungee Trampoline, Gemstone Panning, the Rockpile Climbing Wall, and Coloradoâs largest human Maze! For Nordic skiers, the Breckenridge Nordic Center is a block away and features 32 kilometers of cross-country ski trails and 16 kilometers of snowshoe trails surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Ten Mile Range and Continental Divide. Summertime is just as unique when those Nordic trails turn into hiking and mountain biking trails through scenic Cucumber Gulch which is a great place to catch a glimpse of one of the many black bears, moose, or red foxes that call the area home. After a day in the mountains, head home to wonderful meals, family games, hot tubing under the stars, movie night or relaxing by the fire. The open floor plan and two separate living areas will give everyone an opportunity to hang out and enjoy the company or retreat to their own private quarters. Enjoy the football game or play the PS2 or do both! Keeping the peace is easy with two separate living areas equipped with PS2, TVâs, and stereo systems. Family reunions, ski clubs, a weekend with friends or the family and nanny⦠all will be happily ensconced in one of the four large bedrooms. For your comfort, all 4 bedrooms are equipped with private baths. There are 2 very secluded and well appointed master suites each with a queen bed, jetted tub and dual sinks. One even has a balcony! In addition, each master suite has a futon which can host 1 adult or 2 children (one futon is located in the loft area outside of the master suite). In the downstairs bedrooms there is a bunk bed and futon as well as a queen bed. The bedrooms are located adjacent to the family/entertainment room that features a small bar/refreshment area, PS2, puzzles & games, and TV. It is the perfect place for the kids to getaway and entertain themselves. On the main level you will find a beautifully appointed living room with a huge moss rock fireplace, cathedral ceiling with timber accents and wet bar for relaxation after your get-away activities. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room and breakfast nook. Kitchen amenities include all stainless steel appliances, a double oven and electric cook top along with an over sized island and granite counter tops throughout. The dining area offers seating for 6. The cozy breakfast nook has additional seating for 6 and access to the backyard patio. Outdoor living? You betcha! Relax après ski in the hot tub that can accommodate 6 or grill out using the gas BBQ while dining at the patio table that seats 6. Whether is it snowing or sunny you can always keep your toes warm around the outdoor gas fire pit. No need to lug your gear in and out of the house either. Store it all in the oversized 2 car heated garage with work bench. There is ample parking in the driveway to accommodate your boat, RV or trailer.
