Spacious and inviting, it boasts large logs, stone fireplaces, warm woods, and comfortable furnishings throughout. Rustically elegant finishes are obvious everywhere from the hand-scraped hickory and slate floors to the custom iron and stone work, granite countertops, copper ceilings, and lovely woodwork. Rivertree Lodge is ideally located just 5 miles from Breckenridge ski resort, 6 miles from Keystone, and 7 miles from Copper Mountain. Just a 5-minute walk from beautiful Lake Dillon and surrounded on all sides by glorious mountain views, you can start your days by stepping out the back door for some world-class fly fishing, and end your days by the cozy fireplace! Miles of bike trails are accessible right out the front door. Or if you prefer a more leisurely vacation, you can idle away your hours in the hammock or on the wooden bench swings nestled down by the river, or enjoy a good book and a cup of hot chocolate! The Blue River meanders through the property, inviting you to enjoy its serenity and beauty. The main floor has a vaulted ceiling, huge stone fireplace, and amazing floor-to-ceiling views of the Blue River. It also has 2 game tables, a big screen HD TV, and a lovely antique piano, which was originally the bar piano in the old Leadville Saloon and was played by Doc Holliday! The kitchen and dining room open off of the great room, creating a comfortable flow and a feeling of openness. The dining room has two walls of windows overlooking the river, a lovely copper ceiling, and a large table which seats twelve. With additional tables and chairs you can seat 24 for meals. The kitchen boasts warm alder wood cabinets, rustic ceiling beams and granite countertops, along with top of the line appliances. There are two dishwashers, making kitchen cleaning a snap! In addition to the large refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen, there is a second downstairs for extra food storage. The sound system allows you to use your own ipod or iphone to play your favorite music throughout the main floor, as well as on the deck and back patio. Sitting on the back deck, with its dining table, large gas grill, and comfy chairs, you can enjoy the sounds of the river and the scent of the blue spruce and pine trees. Ideal for families or groups, Rivertree Lodge can sleep 20 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king size bed, gas fireplace, HD TV, and private bath. With french doors opening onto a balcony, you can close your eyes each night to the lullaby of the river singing you to sleep. The guest room has a queen bed with attached bath. There are also two bunk rooms with hand-scraped aspen log bunk beds. The first sleeps 8 and the second sleeps 6, and each has its own private bathroom. In addition, there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the loft. The loft, with a lovely view to the mountains on one side and the river on the other, also serves as a cozy library/study. The gameroom boasts a big screen HD TV with theater-quality surround sound. A DVD library is available for viewing, and there are also video game consoles and games, including Guitar Hero. A large poker table will provide fun evenings of friendly competition playing cards or boards games! On the patio just outside the gameroom door youâll find a hot tub large enough for 8 people...perfect to ease those sore muscles after a long day on the slopes! The complimentary Summit Stage shuttle bus stops at the corner, making it easy to get to any of the area ski resorts or other destinations without having to drive or park.
