Located on the 'Hill' you can visit Denver in many ways....walking, biking or use the great public transportation service the City of Denver has to offer. This home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms.....a water closet on every floor. ~ Perfectly charming and eclectic, with a super location to boot for easy access to downtown Denver, the State Capital, 16th Street Mall, Convention Center, Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field, Coors Field and Cherry Creek Mall. Maximum occupancy of home is 6 although if your group is 4 couples....8 person maximum will be considered with rate increase. Located in Capital Hill (originally Brown's Bluff) of Denver, this hip neighborhood is elegant and colorful. This is one of the most vibrant and convenient locations in all of Denver. With a walk score of 91%. This home is close to downtown but not too close. There are several fabulous markets all within walking distance from the home....Whole Foods market is only 3 blocks, Natural Grocers 4 blocks, King Scoopers is 5 blocks away and the new Trader Joe's is just 7 blocks......... Located on historic Clarkson St. the home is modern and fun. Just a short walk (7 blocks) to the State Capital building and 16th Street Mall (8 blocks) puts you in the middle of downtown. ??less than 3 miles from any of Denver's sporting venues.....Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field and Coors Field. The free 16th Street Mall shuttle continues through downtown Denver to Union Station. Everything Denver has to offer is within a 3 mile radius of the home..(not everything but pretty close). Beautiful light shines through all the windows in this home as it faces west with super sunsets...a very open feel for a downtown neighborhood. Leave the blinds open and enjoy the beauty of the neighborhood....The street is filled with an urban mix of mansions, condos and apartment complexes. Very eclectic which is what I love about it. You won't be disappointed with this home for your visit to Denver. The home has an open floor plan (approximately 3200 sf) that flows with warmth and homeyness. The last remodel kept the original architecture, but added some modern conveniences. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor (q,q and a double). Bedroom 1 faces Clarkson St., has a private bathroom and a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a antique queen oak sleigh bed and sits in the back corner of the home with plenty of light. Bedroom 3 (on the opposite end of the home) has the antique brass double bed (Bed knobs and broomsticks)and a nice little private deck with views of local neighborhood. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the other bathroom on this floor. There is also a TV room with a cozy Room and Board down filled sectional with a sleeper if needed. The 'master' bedroom is located in the attic space of the house with a double steam shower. The attic window seat is perfect for taking in a good book. This home has 3.5 bathrooms.....1/2 bathroom on the main living space, 2 bathrooms on the second level and 1 bathroom in the attic level......a very convenient amenities for a classic Victorian. The living area is completely comfortable with period coal basket, LCD flat screen TV leather sofa, club chair and ottoman. At the front of the living area, there is a large picture window with 2 cozy recliners for relaxing.
