Just an hour from the Twin Cities, this is a great place to escape and relax any time of year. The property includes a two-story cabin and a game room. The cabin has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, including a main floor master bedroom suite with a walk-in closet and a private bath. Three more bedrooms are located on the second floor. A large, inviting kitchen and a dining area with room for eight allow you to prepare and enjoy your favorite meals in a relaxed and roomy setting. The living room is warm and cozy. It features wall-to-wall windows, a stone fireplace and hardwood floors. A large deck extends across the front of the cabin - the perfect place to watch the eagles comb the shoreline or to view the spectacular night sky. The game room is a special treat. It is a private suite that includes a bathroom, a large living area and a patio overlooking the lake. This is where a small family can find personal space, or where board game legends can be created. The cabin and game room are only a few steps from the lakeshore and your own private dock. A public landing is less than a quarter-mile away, very convenient for launching any water toys you want to bring with you. Balsam Lake offers excellent fishing. Panfish, bass, northern pike and walleye are the most common catches. The location of this property lends itself to bass strikes right off the dock. Other attractions on or near Balsam Lake include fine dining, a full service marina and a public beach. Stop in at Paradise Landing and enjoy a five-star meal in a setting that's casual enough for the kids. Rent watercraft at Sunnyside Marina, or spend some time on the beach in town. Forgot to pack something? No problem...there's a convenience store just a mile away. All of this is yours to enjoy!
