My husband and I first travelled to Kawama 5 years ago. We absolutely fell in love with the island and Kawama Yacht Club. We especially fell in love with our home because of it's location in the resort. We are directly on a lagoon with fantastic views from both the living room and master bedroom balcony. Waking up every morning to views of the water and palm trees has always been a dream of mine! To top it off, the pool, ocean, beach, marina, pier and tennis courts are just outside our door...literally. Our home has ample room with 3 bedrooms all with Queen beds and 3 full bathrooms that all have their own shower. No line-ups...need I say more?!? In 2012 we totally renovated and refurnished our whole home. Both rooms on the second level are fully furnished and each have their own balcony. The main floor bedroom also has a Queen bed, private bathroom, sitting area and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher. There is also a BBQ on the balcony form the kitchen for all your grilling pleasure. There is a breakfast bar with stool, in addition to a dining room table for meals. There are also 4 balconies to enjoy food or drink on. Perfect for those who love to be outside! Aside from our beautiful home it is the experience of Kawama and the Island we come here for. Young or old, relaxed or active, family or couples, Kawama has everything you could possibly want or need right at your doorstep. From relaxing on the beach, snorkelling in the ocean, walking on the pier, taking your boat out, kayaking the canals, watching the sunsets, waterfront dining, shopping, touring to Key West Miami, perfecting your tan at the pool, swimming your cares away, playing tennis and lest we not forget...happy hours (Key Largo is famous for these!). KL has it all!!! That's what keeps people coming back time and time again. What more could I possible say except that people have been coming back time and time again for years and years.
