Description
This home was completed in May 2012 and we started renting it the first time in the Summer of 2013. It is located directly on Smith Lake in the beautiful Rock Creek section. This portion of the lake is known for its large population of striped bass, deep clear water and huge rock bluffs. This home is located (by water) within 5 minutes of Rock Creek Marina and 15 minutes to Dustin Point Marina. Our home comes with two double kayaks for our guests to use. The driveway has parking for three cars or two cars and boat trailer. This home is three levels with no steps coming in to the main level. On this level is the family room with kitchen, one guest bath, and the master bedroom and bath. This home has high ceilings, lots of big windows and therefore lots of natural light. There is a huge deck off the family room with two tables which seat 10 people. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and one bathroom. The lake facing bedroom has vaulted ceilings and we use it as our 'master' bedroom because of the great lake views. The laundry room is off the other upstairs bedrooms. The lowest level has an air hockey table which the kids enjoy along with a couch and chairs to enjoy the lower lake views. There are TVs with satellite in the family room, master bedroom, lake front bedroom and lowest floor living area. There is a small TV with DVD player in back 'kids' bedroom used just for playing DVDs. Also DVD player in lowest living room. This home comes with a pack n play, a booster seat and toddler bed for the convenience of those with small children. We also have an inflatable queen and single mattress. The main level bedroom has a queen bed, the upstairs bedrooms have a queen in one and bunk bed in the other. We have a boat house with one boat slip that is left available for our guests starting Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day Weekend. The closest public boat launch is Rock Creek Marina. It is 9 miles away by car and 5 minutes by water.
