Clean and private, the inside of this historic home build in 1906 boasts original woodwork and designs with a fully updated kitchen. The main living space includes a living room area perfect for stretching out and is open to include a great dining area for you and your family and friends. The full bath on the first floor is furnished with a claw-foot tub to relax in. In addition to another half bath, there are two bedrooms on the first floor, with the master upstairs, sure to impress. In true bungalow style, the master bedroom is the entire second floor with views of downtown and of the mountains beyond. Wake up to a beautiful Denver sunrise over the plains in the breakfast nook at the bistro set, then watch the sun set over the mountains while enjoying a book in the Supersac queen-size beanbag. The full bath and walk-in closet provide you with everything you need in a master bedroom. Central air will keep you comfortable throughout your stay, while the dry air and cool nights will be sure to draw you outside in the evening. Lay back in one of the Adirondack chairs on the front porch as the sun goes down and wave to friendly dog-walkers. When the sun sets, grab a seat around the fire pit nestled next to beautiful Aspen trees in the back yard and roast some s'mores. If you want to cook during your stay, the updated Kenmore stove, oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer, as well as back porch with grill will meet all of your needs. If you're not feeling like cooking, order in from local Uptown Wok chinese, Walnut Room pizza, and even The Dirty Cookie for cookies and ice cream delivered right to your door! If you decide to venture out, you won't have to go far to have everything you need. Stroll the tree lined streets to nearby City Park to sit by the lake or paddle out in a paddle boat. Take your clubs for golf at City Park Golf course, your rackets for tennis, or a picnic for City Park Jazz every Sunday from June through August. Also enjoy the Denver Zoo as well as Nature and Science Museum while you're at City Park. Walk to The Plimoth, The Whittier Pub, or Vine Street Pub within a few blocks for great food and drinks. Walk, bike, drive, or take public transit downtown for lots of fun. Local breweries, terrific restaurants, theater, art galleries, the convention center, capitol building, U.S. mint, professional sports, and amusement parks are just some of the attractions within a short four miles from home. Enjoy the sights and sounds in towns like Golden and Boulder, both within an easy 30 minute drive from home. You can even visit Colorado Springs attractions like the Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, and Air Force Academy with an easy hour-long drive. If the mountains are calling, hop on I-70 and head up explore the front range, only 20-30 minutes away.
