In this spacious home you are right on the beach. The gradual slope from the expansive deck to the nearby water makes this a delightful, family-friendly setting. Parents can relax in a chair on the deck while watching activities on the beach. The clear, shallow water of Steamboat Bay is warmer than the surrounding areas of the lakeâperfect for swimming or playing in the water. The bay, just 4 miles north of Coolin, is a protected white sand cove on the east side of the lakeâreceiving afternoon sun until late in the evening during the summer. There is plenty of space in this 3700 sq ft beach houseâwith four large bedrooms, including a roomy master suite with separate sinks and closets. There are beds for 15. Just off the fully equipped kitchen is a large, open great roomâideal for group activities, with plenty of seating and a large screen TV. Blue Diamond Marina is located approximately 1.5 miles (a 5 minute drive) from the property. A 20' boat slip is provided for the use of guests of the Steamboat Bay Retreat property. Guests can bring their own boats and dock them at the Marina, or can rent them there or at other marinas around the lake. In addition to all the watersports on the lake (boating, fishing, jet-skiing, etc), there are wonderful hiking and biking trails, huckleberry picking on the nearby hillsides, natural waterslides, river rafting and much more. A restaurant and pub is located 2.5 miles away at Cavanaugh Bay Resort, and the Priest Lake Golf Course is just across the lake.
