Enjoy the peace and tranquility of pristine east Hawaii. This is the best of old Hawaii without overwhelming commercialism. The small seaside community of Kapoho offers visitors the fragrance of tropical blossoms, the wild colors of tropical plants and flowers, the sweet cooing of doves and the rolling ocean waves. The house is 300 feet from the Wai'opae tide pools with some of the best snorkeling and diving in Hawaii. Reef fish are plentiful. Swim with turtles, spotted eagle rays, parrot fish and puffers. You will see new sea dwellers every time you are in the water. The Kapoho area has some of the best weather in Hawaii. There is enough rain to create lush vegetation with plenty of sun to brighten each day. The house has two bedrooms and two baths, one with a tub/shower, and one with a shower. There is an outdoor shower for the complete tropical experience. The kitchen has pots and pans, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, microwave, and granite counter tops. Walk out of the bedroom onto the back lanai to enjoy the lush variety of tropical plants and flowers in the beautifully landscaped yard. Sit on the front lanai after a day of snorkeling. Visit the unique town of Pahoa, eight miles away. Be sure to enjoy Ahalanui hot pond, Paradise Drive along the shore, the many botanical gardens, Makuu and Hilo farmers markets, surfing at Isaac Hale Park, (2 miles away), exhilarating sunrises, and of course the spectacular volcano near Kalapana.
