Probably the best vacation rental in the fabulous Plaza Villas complex. A unique single storey unit - no one above or below you - with two patios, one over-sized, and both with superb mountain views. This light and spacious ground floor unit has cathedral ceilings and has just been remodeled with a mid-century modern theme of cool whites and stunning bright color interior furnishings and highlights. The apartment is very privately situated in the south west corner of the Plaza Villas complex with uninterrupted views of the majestic San Jacinto mountains from each of the two bedrooms and both patios. Surrounded by a grass lawn, bougainvillea and roses, under the shade of a eucalyptus tree, the setting is truly magical and peaceful. Bedroom Suite 1, with its adjacent remodeled bathroom, has a cathedral ceiling and sliding doors to its own personal patio to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail in complete privacy. Bedroom Suite 2 has a panoramic view through the wide window and enjoys an en-suite bathroom, also remodeled in 2014, with tub and shower. Both rooms have King beds (Suite 2 can be set up with two singles on request), full air conditioning and ceiling fans. The full size closets have mirrored sliding doors. The stunning living room with its bright white floor tiles and towering cathedral ceiling, echoes the mid-century modern architecture that made Palm Springs famous. All new 60s-style furnishings, lighting, unique art on the walls and a European approach to design give a special sense of space. Sliding doors lead directly to the supersize patio with both dining space and a comfortable seating area to soak up the sun or relax with an evening glass of wine. The kitchen features cool quartz countertops, all new cabinetry, new appliances including dishwasher, fridge, microwave and stove. A newly created bar links kitchen and living area and complements the dining area with its giant, light-reflecting mirror and mid-century modern style furnishings and lighting. The discreet laundry area has new washer and dryer twin. Spaciousness, brightness and privacy make this beautiful apartment a joy to spend time in and, with a design theme that revives the spirit of the 60s, itâs also a reminder of what made Palm Springs great. But, donât worry, we know things have moved on a bit since then so thereâs also cable TV and high speed internet included!
