While being waterfront is wonderful...there is an entirely different world when you stay just a block or two off our main highway yet still walking distance or a bike ride to the sugar white sandy beaches. Wake up to birds and green looking out of every window. No houses on either side or behind you. This property is not a 'rental', but rather the perfect home away from home. A perfect couples retreat. Two Beach Cruiser Bikes are onsite for your use. Feel free to bring your own or rent additional bikes right in town. If you want to retreat away from the crowds but still close to our market, restaurants and beaches, this is the perfect home for your stay. Room for boat and onsite parking. Cottage is one level. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of home for privacy. Has both front and back porches. Mexico beach is so perfectly situated as a place to just come and hang out, or to venture out. You can visit the historical fishing village of Apalachicola (and try Tamara's Cafe or Tappas bar), the downtown shopping of Port St Joe (and awesome restaurants)...Horseback ride out at the Cape...even travel up to Seaside for a totally different flavor and shopping. Or, just stay put and fish, look for shells, start your morning at the internet cafe...grab a bite at Killer Seafood (written up in magazines-love the fish tacos!)...or sit and watch the sunset at Toucan's from the deck or balcony while sipping a drink. You will feel like you are a world away... WELCOME to MEXICO BEACH.
