Welcome to Lake Wissota Lakehouse, where you will feel at home the minute you walk in. the door. This three bedroom, one bath home has great lake views and access. Tie your boat to the dock or catch some fish at the end of the dock. This lake house is located on Lake Wissota, a 6300 acre water paradise. There is plenty of fishing (musky, walleye, bass and panfish) and yet lots of recreational boating, skiing, paddling and sand beach swimming. The Wissota Lakehouse offers a unique setting for families and quilters. The three bedrooms (one queen, one double, 2 twins) easily accommodate a family or four adult quilters. (6 max.) The fully equipped kitchen, Cable TV with DVD, Stereo, WiFi with high speed internet, washer and dryer, gas grill, outdoor fire ring, picnic table and central air make this a very comfortable home. For the quilters; a custom sewing center with cutting table, built-in ironing board and machine platform is a quilters dream. Set up overlooking the lake, it is hard to imagine which is more beautiful; the quilt you are working on or the view outdoors. And for your quilt shopping pleasure, there are six quilt shops within 30 minutes of the house! The location on a quiet cul-de-sac is within walking distance to to four different eating establishments, ranging from old fashion drive-in root beer stand to classic Wisconsin tavern to fine dining supper club. The famous Leinenkugal Brewery and two wineries are very close by for tours and tasting. And for the outdoor enthusist Lake Wissota State Park is just across the lake offering swimming, picnicing, camping, hiking and biking trails and water rentals. Across the street is a Ray's Beach, a large public sand beach. The Old Abe (paved) biking trail offers great biking along the Chippewa River. Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls is a great place for families with a kid friendly pool and petting zoo. Area events include; Country Jam, Country Fest, Rock Fest, Northern Wisconsin State Fair, Pure Water days and many other great events in the surrounding area.
