OMG - Break out the bermuda shorts and flip flops. Hereâs a prediction that will brighten your day and knock out the cobwebs. Picture yourself stepping out of your A-frame and casually strolling toward sand dunes, sea oats and miles of crystal coastline. Smell the sea air and begin exploring the area that is famous for itâs beaches, lighthouses, and Coast Guard Station. Did we mention that the fishing is out of sight? (off the beach, off a close-by pier, or rent a boat!) You do need a city-issued permit to fish on the beach. Return to your cottage with a huge appetite and fix a meal in this modern and fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a drink while sitting on the screened-in porch/deck. Later, take a shower in one of our very smart bathrooms before heading out to do a little exploring. A short ride up the coast brings you to lighthouses, quaint little towns with lots of shopping and mouth watering fresh seafood. Feel the stress just melt away . . . ahhhhhh . . . âFeels So Good.â Our cottage is modern, fresh, and clean. It is complete with central heating and air conditioning. You will find a new, sleek kitchen that is fully equipped with a dishwasher,microwave, coffee maker, blender, dishes, flatware and pots & pans. The living area includes a flat screen TV with cable, a DVD player, a library of movies and books, and a selection of board games for your pleasure. The top bedroom has two double beds with ensuite bathroom and intimate privacy balcony with romantic sunset view. On the main floor there is one bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom and flat screen TV. The other bedroom has two double beds. You need to bring your own linens. There is a full bath with bathtub on the main floor. The loft area has a day bed. Each bedroom has plenty of closet space and a dresser. So, you can unpack and feel right at home. Outside you can enjoy a quick hot shower to wash away the beach sand. You will want to make use of the outside grill to cook up local seafood and produce and then enjoy it at the outdoor table on the screened-in porch. No cottage is complete without a generous porch with deck chairs to watch the sun come over the ocean or go down over the sound. Itâs a very safe neighborhood! Bikes and beach toys are provided for kids of all ages. The Point of Emerald Isle has limited traffic, which is safe to take long walks and biking. In just 10 minutes you can be at a rental area for surfing, para-sailing, ocean canoing, kite flying, jet skiing. The NC Aquarium is 20 minutes up the coast. Easy day trips can take you to Cape Hatteras National Park, Fort Fisher, Fort Macon , Hammock's Beach State Paark or you can take a ferry ride to Okracoke Island. You are five minutes away from grocery stores, movie theatre, restaurants, a beach accessory store, gas stations, and letâs not forget - gift shops.
