Beautiful, warm and tastefully decorated home. The home was designed to create a perfect indoor outdoor living environment. The grounds and homeâs serene, private, lush setting was developed by a world renowned landscape architect. It is a true sanctuary surrounded by the stunning Palos Verdes Peninsula. The Home The house flows with easy elegance. Warm hardwood floors and French doors open the kitchen and living room to the stone and tile outdoor living spaces. The gourmet kitchen boasts Wolf and Professional Series Thermador appliances. Outdoor Living The outdoor living room has a fireplace, outdoor seating, dining for 8, and outdoor âkitchenâ with granite counter tops, refrigerator, single cook top and barbeque. The separate 'Zen' area has a Jacuzzi, lava rock fire pit, outdoor shower (the area is completely private) and antique brickwork. There is seating complete with soft pillows on a bench for six and two softly cushioned teak loungers. This area is perfect for relaxing, reading, entertaining or roasting marshmallows and hot dogs! Bose stereo sound system is piped to all outdoor living areas in addition to the living and kitchen areas. The organic orchard with its orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit, peach, avocado, and apple trees is also filled with every imaginable herb and a nice selection of seasonal vegetables. The property looks out across a canyon to equestrian stables, western trail rides and English riding lessons are available there. The house comes with a surf board, boogie boards and bikes. Our Area Palos Verdes is a peninsula in Los Angeles County surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. The area is filled with horses, walking trails, biking, surfing and an abundance of outdoor activities that take advantage of the phenomenal weather. The house is a 5 minute drive to gorgeous beaches where there is world class surfing, diving and sailing. The beach has a bike path that goes for more than 20 miles into Santa Monica and beyond. The Palos Verdes golf club is just a short walk from our home. Cafes, shops and the Terranea Resort are just minutes from our home. Our area is peaceful and only 45 minutes from Santa Monica, Hollywood, Pasadena, Disneyland...it's the best of both worlds. Los Angeles at your finger tips, but in a peaceful, idyllic environment. After a day of sight seeing, itâs always wonderful to return to this serene environment. We also have found that once people arrive they really fall in love with the South Bay.
