This beautiful, comfortable 3 bedroom Northwoods Lodge- style lake shore home is ideal for a large family. It is a private lakeside cabin retreat. It is nestled in the birch trees with lots of natural light. You won't be disappointed. The home is very spacious with multiple areas for people to get away and relax. It is clean and tastefully decorated. Enjoy swimming in the crystal clean lake. We have great outdoor spaces including a seasonal hot tub and kick back on a large deck with comfortable furniture. Excellent open floor plan for cooking and meals. The bunkhouse above the garage for kids sleeps up to six (4 bunks and a queen futon) and has its own modest seating area and a balcony. Finished walkout basement, with gas (stove) fireplace, pool table and entertainment center. With two couches and 3 bedrooms in main home comfortably sleeps 8. Satellite TV, stereos up and down. Large movie collection plus Internet for communications including Netflix though Walkout level cable TV and Apple TV on main floor plus DVD is connected to Internet. On the walk-out level is a fabulous paver patio with a decorative small pond and a waterfall. Relax to the sound of flowing water. There is a firepit to roast marshmellows and smors around and we provide the wood for you. The interior is finished in tongue and groove knotty pine. There is a wood burning fireplace on the main level for romantic charm and a gas burning free standing stove on the lower walkout level. The walkout level also features an 8ft slate pool table and wet bar with refrigerator. The master bedroom is on the loft level overlooking the great-room inside balcony with an antique rocking chair for charm and ambiance. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a 1/2 bath The 2 main floor bedrooms feature a queen bed in one bedroom and two extra long (6'8') twins in the other. All bedrooms have large windows for excellent clean northern air ventilation and you'll hear the sound of three pairs of breeding loons and their haunting yet enchanting lullabies. The wrap around deck is expansive and high off the ground mosquitoes are rarely a problem. Attached large screen porch, opens to the main level and the deck, also has room for plenty of people and dining for 4-5. Two hammock chairs in this screens areas plus teak love seat and two teak side chairs make it a great conversation area in the afternoons and evenings. Plenty of wood folding chairs for additional seating around a gorgeous teak dining table. Plenty of afternoon sun brightens your day as the west wall is all windows overlooking the deck and lake. There is plenty of outdoor furniture and additional seating on the large wrap around deck including two rocking chairs, a teak oversized chaise lounge and a separate setting area for four. The deck also features a large outdoor teak dining table seats 10-12. The lake is 44 steps from the patio and the dock has a bench for up close lake viewing. There is a landing with a small seating area about 12 steps down from the patio that has a perfect view of the dock. Fish right from the dock for panfish. large mouth bass and the occasional walleye or northern pike. Boat rental and jet ski are available in town by reservation. The dock is 16ft long plus a 4x10 landing area at the bottom of the steps. Long Lake is one of Wisconsin's cleanest lakes. You can see your toes when in water up to your neck. The lake is spring fed and contains many species of fish. A Weber charcoal grill and a deluxe outdoor eating area complement the large deck on the main level. Deck furniture include a chaise lounge with cushion, two rocking chairs also with cushions, and a cushioned loveseat and two cushioned side chairs. Additional seating in the form or wood folding chairs and (if needed) stackable plastic chairs compliment the outdoor eating area or move them to other parts of the deck, the screen porch or patio for group gatherings.
