Perched high on the edge of a lush tropical sea cliff at the dead end of this quaint coastal beach community's most exclusive cul de sac stands this expansive 4 bedroom 4 bath gated modern absolute oceanfront masterpiece whose custom design boasts direct views of exotic Kehena Black sand Beach from every major room in the house. The estate incorporates a bedroom Main House and 2 detached bedroom 'cottage' suites that each feature their own well equipped kitchenette with sink, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge as well as a beautifully furnished living area with TV/DVD and dining area with a bar height bistro set for two. Each unit has its own private phone line. Each of the 2 very private 'cottage' suites are located on opposite poles of the estate and can be accessed through a series of doors with secure coded entries. The option to rent one or both of these units for an additional fee is available. The 'Loft' cottage suite is actually two levels with a Tempurpedic California King bamboo bed and the full bathroom on the upper level. A comfortable sofa that can function as a daybed is located on the lower living level of the Loft. It abuts the heated oceanfront pool which is built into the large oceanfront deck which is encircled with glass railing throughout in order to capitalize on one of the most spectacular vistas you will ever encounter. The pool has a Swimfit pool which allows one to adjust the optional current so that one may swim in place at one's preferred pace. Direct access to the pool is shared with the main central portion of the residence. The 'Studio' cottage suite has its own private lanai (open air balcony) for lounging and also has a full private bathroom. The lanai has glass railing that affords dramatic views of Kehena Beach through a mature coconut forest. It has a Queen sized elevated 'Captain's Bed.' For further convenience, the sofa can easily expand into a futon to provide 2 separate sleeping areas. One must first enter the large gym through coded French doors in order to proceed to access the next coded door in order to access the final coded door to the Studio. The main portion of the residence is centrally located . There are 2 oceanfront bedrooms upstairs, each with a Queen sized poster bed with elaborate marble furniture accents. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a flat screen TV/DVD player, stunning designer furniture and generous closet space. The upstairs bathroom has a double headed shower and European style bidet. The powder room is located downstairs. There is an outdoor shower with natural black lava rock walls adjacent to the pool which can be directly accessed from the sunken living room. The entry level of the main portion of the residence has a dining room with Polynesian theme and seating area for 4, but one can seat up to an additional 4 people in the dining/kitchen area if desired. The kitchen is fully equipped including refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, disposal, double sinks, dishes and utensils. The living room has a large mounted TV with DVD player, a large plush leather theater style sofa with ottomans and also 2 chaise lounges. Kehena Beach Estate has amenities that simply can not be encountered elsewhere in this vicinity of the island. The total experience is more akin to a resort than it is to a typical vacation rental. Upon your arrival, you will notice that the oceanfront block is secured with 6 foot lava rock walls adorned with a series of elaborate artistic copper gates and matching light fixtures. All were custom designed by famed Honolulu based French sculptor Frederic Zimmer. The entry pillars of the estate will remain illuminated throughout the entire night for your safety and security. The estate is a fortress surrounded by 6 foot lava rock walls. For your added peace of mind, the property is secured with 'panic buttons' monitored 24 hours a day by Alert Alarm of Hawaii.
