Only 10 miles to World Class Fishing...Only 8 miles from Grand Targhee Ski Resort (Door to Slopes)...Alta Cabin is one of the closest places to stay for both --- but still have gorgeous views of the Grand Targhee Ski Resort and the Grand Tetons! Sit in the Jacuzzi and watch gorgeous views of The Grand and point out the trails you skied that day! Ten kilometers of Cross Country trails are out your back door! (literally the maintained trails begin 50 feet from the deck) The cabin has two bedrooms with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, can sleep up to 4 people, and is child friendly. The bathroom is connected to the downstairs bedroom. Kitchenette is provided. The Main House is also kid friendly. It has a loft area with a queen bed and views of the Tetons, there is a bedroom downstairs also which has a very comfortable futon. The house has large picture windows looking out at the Tetons, a flat screen tv, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and a nice claw foot bath tub. Come and enjoy the privacy and beauty of Alta and Grand Targhee Ski Resort in your own Alta Cabin! SPRING/SUMMER/FALL - FLY FISHING AND NATIONAL PARKS! Alta Cabin is just a short walk from the Teton Creek and a few miles from world class Fly Fishing on the Teton River! There is plenty of open lawn to practice your casting in the front and back yard. In addition, Alta Cabin is situated at the entrance to Teton Canyon and Targhee National Park. Yellowstone and Teton National Parks are easily visited from the Cabin on day trips (2 hours to Yellowstone and 1 hour to Teton National Park). Hiking in the Aspens or gorgeous Canyons, Road Biking miles of scenic road, Mountain Biking the canyons and wildlife viewing are a few of the activities that can be enjoyed only minutes from the cabin.
