A simple walk outside and you are greeted with the well-manicured grounds, private club house, pool and expansive pool deck with chase lounges, ample seating and umbrella tables. A couple more quick steps across the street and you will find yourself at the beautiful Winter Haven Park. This no-drive/ kid-friendly beach at Winter Haven Park is a hidden gem with a public bathhouse, lifeguard, picnic areas, and of course pristine white sand beaches. Visited mostly by the locals, this beach is perfect for walking, jogging, sunning, shelling and of course surfing. Looking for other things to do? This condo at Beacons Point is located directly next to Ho Daddy Oâs Homemade Ice Cream and Surf Shop in the 7/11 Plaza, offering surfing rentals, lessons and camps for all ages. Ponce Inlet has some of the best backwater fishing in Florida, and anglers come from all over to enjoy both fresh and salt-water fishing. Also available in the Ponce Inlet area are sunset cruises, nature tours, extensive bike paths, and the Marine Science Center just to name a few. The main attraction in town is the restored 175-foot, red brick Ponce de Leon Lighthouse. Visitors can climb to the top of the lighthouse for a stunning panoramic view of the Daytona Beach area. Itâs one of the few lighthouses in the country with all of the original buildings still standing. If all of this is not enough for you, you will not be disappointed by the local water side restaurants either. And donât forget Orlando is just an hour away with Disney, Sea World and Universal Studios
