The Wicker Creel is a brand new (rebuilt), beautiful custom log cabin home located in the quiet Blue River area, only 2-3 minutes from downtown Breckenridge. This log cabin embodies the true meaning of Colorado Mountain living with all the modern conveniences you want (hot tub, internet, cable TV, well-stocked kitchen, radiant floor heating, gas fireplace, etc...). Custom log furniture in the 3 bedrooms creates a cozy atmosphere, along with the beautiful engravings and decorations. The loft is great for a quiet movie night, and also provides extra sleeping space with a sleeper sofa. It is ideal for families, reunions, small groups, and romantic getaways. Right out the front door is excellent fly fishing in neighboring Blue River for wild trout. There are many trails to ride bikes or hike just minutes from the cabin. Five world class trout fishing rivers are within 1 hour of the front door...the South Platte, Blue River, Colorado, Arkansas, Roaring Fork or Eagle. There are also an abundance of hiking and jeep trails throughout the county and right around Breckenridge. In winter, we are just a short 5 minute drive to world-renown skiing in Breckenridge, and less than an hour drive to Copper Mountain, Vail, Keystone, Loveland and Arapahoe Basin ski areas. The cabin is easily accessible in winter. No 4-wheel drive is required. When you want to take a break from the outdoor activities, relax on our beautiful deck with custom patio chairs, cook your own meals using the well-stocked kitchen appliances and outdoor grill, or take advantage of the many great shops, art galleries, and restaurants in town. Whether summer or winter, The Wicker Creel is the perfect spot....secluded but close to all activities around Breckenridge.
