Description
This two bedroom cottage is overlooking Round Lake of the Pike Lake Chain. The view from the cottage will take your breath away! The four-lake chain has over 2,000 acres of water, offering great fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities. It is located a ½ mile from the Chequamegon-Nicolet National forest, which has miles and miles of hiking and ATV trails. Minocqua is only a 20 minute drive away. The interior is all knotty pine. It has 2 bedrooms, a newly remodeled kitchen, dining area, living room with free standing gas fireplace, a new bathroom and a new screened porch with breakfast table and a large deck. It comfortably accommodates five. 14' rowboat is included with the rental. The cottage was completely renovated and expanded in 2012, featuring a new larger bathroom with new fixtures, as well as a larger living room, dining area and bedrooms. A new screen porch, new larger front windows and a new roof were also part of the 2012 addition. The kitchen was totally renovated in 2010, including new cabinets and appliances. The cabin's footprint was increased by approximately 20% in 2012. Once the addition is 100% completed (May 2012), we will update the Cabin pictures. The cottage is one of eight that are part of the Wild Goose Resort. Wild Goose is neat and clean and is well-maintained, there is a bar and a restaurant located on the premises, as well as a slip for your boat. The âGooseâ is truly a âwell-kept secretâ and has been in operation for many years.
