Truly one of the most special rentals on the Eagle River Chain. This 4 bedroom home is located on Yellow Birch Lake, one of the most prestigious of the entire 28 lake, Eagle River Chain of Lakes, which is the largest inland chain of lakes in the world. From the completely remodeled home to the very rare, large sand beach with permanent pier and boat house, it is the perfect place for your family vacation. This home is within walking distance to Eagle River and all it has to offer. The kids can walk into town for an ice cream or movie or you can have your morning walk and grab a cup of coffee at the coffee shop. The grocery store, hospital, golf course and airport are all close by. This property is set up perfectly for two families to share or one family to spread out. The main level has an entry vestibule with tile floor, closet and coat hooks that is the perfect place for sandy shoes and wet towels or snowmobile gear. After the vestibule is the tile floor entry with closet and bench with coat hooks. The family room has a gas, fieldstone fireplace and huge picture window looking onto the lake. The kitchen has Corian counters, newer appliances, a pantry, window seat and fabulous views of the lake. The charming full bath is shared by the two large bedrooms on this level. Bedroom #1 has a king size bed, a twin size bed and two closets. Bedroom #2 has two full size beds and a large closet. The kitchen and family room open onto the huge deck with seating area, dining area and more fabulous views of the water. The lower level is a fully exposed walk out. This level has a family room with flat screen TV for watching movies, large sectional couch, gas fieldstone fireplace, game table, full laundry room, extra refrigerator for beverages and full bath. The two bedrooms on this level each have one full bed and three twin beds for a total of 12 separate beds in the home. The lower level opens onto a large screen porch facing the lake. The screen porch has a double chaise that is a favorite spot for kids to sleep (this is not counted in the sleeps total). There is a lower deck off the screen porch that has a hanging porch swing facing the lake. There is a gentle slope from the house to the lake where you'll find a large beach, fire pit, two hammocks in the trees ( best napping spot!), a large permanent pier, boat house and ripple sand swimming frontage. The gradual slope into the lake with hard sand bottom accommodates little ones who want to walk into the water and those that would rather take a running start down the classic wood dock and dive into the lake. We purchased this home as a vacation spot for our family, but because of a move we are renting it out. The amenities are not typical of a rental, from the thick, Egyptian cotton towels to the high thread count sheet sets. It has been completely remodeled in a classic lake house fashion and is very fresh and clean. It is truly the best of both worlds. You can head out to find nearby adventure, fine dining, entertainment, shopping and activities, most of which you can also get to by boat, or, you can stay put, because this home has everything you could ever ask for.
