This relaxing home is located in a very quiet neighborhood of western Pasadena. Walking through the front entrance, you will be welcomed by the spacious living room and kitchen area. The gas fireplace adds to the ambiance of the rooms. Benches and dining table allow for entertaining conversations and game playing while others enjoy the gourmet cooking area. The updated kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counters, butcher block island and enjoyable breezes from the spacious windows and patio door. It is a great place for special meals in this home away from home. Through the hallway you will access the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master suite has a queen bed, HDTV flat screen, windows for a view of the neighborhood and front gardens, and a private bath with two sinks, toilet and a 4 'x 5' shower with a glass block wall and a sky light. The other three bedrooms also have queen beds, HDTV and an abundance of natural lighting. All three look out to the pool and fountain area. Every bedroom has a remote controlled ceiling fan and light. The second bathroom has one sink, toilet and tub/shower. A second door in the bathroom exits to the backyard. Stepping through the living room patio doors brings you to the backyard oasis which includes a cabana, pool, dining area with grille, fountains and the rose garden. The couch and chairs in the cabana make for a restful area for conversation or relaxing and reading. At the guest's request, the pool can be heated for swimming enjoyment. Within minutes of the home you can see the majestic San Gabriel Mountains, all things of the Rose Bowl (parade, game, Tournament of Roses mansion, Aquatics Center), Norton Simon Museum, plenty of shopping and restaurants. Within 30 mins. or less, you can visit Universal Studios, Santa Anita Race Track, Huntington Botanical Gardens and Museum, LA Zoo, and Downtown Los Angeles. In 45-60 mins. you can visit Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Santa Monica Pier, or Venice Beach. Pasadena is 35 mins. from LAX and Bob Hope Airport in Burbank. Our resident cat, Patches O'Hoolihan, will appreciate nice company (but no other animals).
