The Butternut Cottage at Park Place Cottages will be open early this season starting May 5th. We are opening early to accomodate guests coming to Peninsula State Park for the Door County Half Marathon. To encourage you to come to Door County we are offering a Spring Special that will run from May 5 - June 15, 2011. If you stay for 2 nights you'll enjoy the 3rd night FREE! This special offer does not include Memorial Day weekend. The Butternut Cottage is a charming 2-bedroom, 1 bath home located in northern Door's most picturesque village. We are located right next to Peninsula State Park with 3,776 gorgeous acres, 8 miles of scenic shoreline on the waters of Green Bay, beaches, boat and bicycle rentals, a summer theatre and an 18-hole golf course. You can walk right out the door of the Butternut Cottage and into this beautiful state park. This charming cottage was recently renovated, is nicely decorated and very well equipped. You will enjoy looking at the beautiful perennial flower gardens from the covered porch. We've thought of everything to make your stay here comfortable and enjoyable. The location is in a beautiful 6+ acre park-like setting. There's lawn furniture and picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors. The Butternut Cottage is part of the Park Place Cottages in Ephraim. There are five housekeeping cottages on the property - three 2-bedroom units and two 1-bedroom units offering a total of 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms at the resort. Keywords: Cottage
