Yucatan Area is located in the lower part of La Quinta Cove, nestled against the Santa Rosa Mountains. Our home is located in this quiet neighborhood adjacent to the mountains with walking trails and bike paths shared with road runners, quail, and other desert life. The hiking is perfect for one day walks or several days of hiking pleasure. The desert plants, fauna, sunrises, sunsets, crisp starry nights, offer transcendence to another place and time. Our home is sooooooo conveniently located. While we are five minutes away from it all, once at our home, you will enjoy feeling worlds apart from all the hustle and bustle. The peace and tranquility throughout the area is yours to savor. Our home was professional decorated in Native Decor: a blend of American Indian relics, some Mexican influence including porcelain Mexican sinks in all three bathrooms, along with Asian and Hawaiian Art selections and beautiful artwork from local and far artisans. All mediums superbly combined and intertwined with rustic and new, from big comfy chenille furnishings to rich leather sofas, heavy pine armoires, and best of all, the beds - getting the best nights sleep imaginable. All linens are provided. Every bathroom is well stocked with bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. Enjoy 800 count sheets and comfy pillows. Our floor plan is open, inviting, and comfortable for one couple, two couples, three couples, or a family with children. There are two separate master suites. Each master suite suite has a king bed and separate bathroom with double sinks, [the larger suite has a built in vanity area, jacuzzi bathtub and fireplace for the romantic evening]. Both master suites have walk-in closets, their own T.V., DVD, VCR, clock radio and house telephone. The Third Bedroom has two twin beds, with trundle beds underneath, own T.V., DVD, VCR, alarm clock/radio, and their own bathroom. The T.V. Entertainment Room has a large T.V., VCR, DVD, Stereo, VCR, CD Player with Denon Amplifier for all rooms to receive piped in surround sound music with individual room volume controllers located throughout for your listening pleasure. There are outside speakers located pool side as well. Also available in the TV/DEN area is a portable player that you can attach your own I-pad or I-phone if you choose to play your own music as well as a BOSE I-phone player. Our home is stocked with numerous DVD'S, VCR'S, and CD'S for your enjoyment to choose from. All we ask to enjoy but please don't take our library home with you. LA QUINTA - The town of La Quinta is know for art by local artisans, shopping of all kinds, and fine dining with old world charm. In the town and close by there are many dining choices: Fine Dining and Entertainment at the renowned La Quinta Hotel, the Mexican Restaurant Adobe Grill at La Quinta Hotel is superb and offers pan flute music outside on weekends. We are near several Casino's which offer entertainment, shows, fine dining and gambling. Best of all, close to home in the Old Town of La Quinta itself - there is Arnold Palmer's Restaurant with nightly music (call to confirm), dancing, great food, and a putting green should you have to wait for a table; or the beautiful Lavender Bistro with entertainment nightly in the outside dining area and in their lounge, or the delicious Sage Restaurant, or Clint Eastwood's Hog's Breath Inn. We have a small charming Mexican Cantina for something quick, a Great Seafood Restaurant - The Crab Catcher, and many more. So many wonderful dining choices right there - you can walk if you would like. Our favorite local restaurant, great for family dining, is the Stuft Pizza with a large menu offering steaks, salads, vegetarian, deep fried appetizers, healthy to not healthy, something for everyone; along with their fun filled sports bar.
