'The Highlander' was lovingly built by Jeanne Casale Bourn, who decorated it with beautiful quilts and other local treasures. Her touch is still evident รข comfortable, modern and absolutely relaxing. The house looks directly onto the middle of the lake with a view from the beach to the lodge. A wrap around deck (partially enclosed) provides a wonderful view. The Highlander boasts 11 rooms, 3 bath, 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8: bed - 1 queen; 2 full; and 2 twins). Electric baseboard heat; AC in central living area and ceiling fans everywhere. Pellet stoves both up and downstairs. Full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave; washer & dryer; satellite TV, DVD, DVD collection. No house phone, cell reception is good. Fitted with wifi. Easy walking distance to beach, fishing, playground, tennis and basketball courts and horseshoe pit. Rental includes use of canoe in season. Full 18 hole golf available at Alpine lodge (1 mile).
