Free to use bikes on site, and also canoe and kayaks nearby. ~OUR CEDAR SUNRISE COTTAGE ON CEDAR ISLAND IS AVAILABLE FOR JULY AND AUGUST AT DISCOUNTED RATES. INQUIRE BELOW.~ Bamboo Cottage is a newly renovated 1940's cottage with lovely handcrafted stained glass windows and wood floors. This cottage is very clean and comfortable. (Request our home-owner's website for more information and pictures.) It is located just minutes across the Neuse River from downtown historic New Bern. This charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, cottage has a large living/dining room, eat-in kitchen, front porch, sun room and a large deck overlooking the very private 'bamboo garden'. This comfy cottage has privacy and yet is close to everything. New Bern is a beautiful, historic, small town. There are all of the historic sites, as well as, the natural beauty of the area. 'Bamboo Cottage' is a perfect spot to enjoy them both. The cottage is located just one house back from the Neuse River and has water access at the end Welcome!!: We hope you enjoy our cottage. We have them set up so that you only need to bring your clothes and food. Everything else is here to be enjoyed (even boats!!). We are known for keeping our cottage very clean and comfy.
