An oasis in the middle of thousands of acres of vineyards in the heart of the Napa Valley, this five-bedroom, eight bathroom compound offers privacy and shared space for family reunions or friends wishing to vacation together. The main house opens onto an expansive swimming pool surrounded by gardens, comfortable chaises and lots of outdoor seating for meals. Its master suite includes two bathrooms and an exercise room featuring a treadmill and Pilates equipment. Just outside the master bedroom lies a quiet and completely private courtyard, shaded by an ancient cedar tree. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything necessary for indoor-outdoor dining. Tastefully furnished and appointed with original art and a grand piano, the living spaces are open and inviting. The three-bedroom guest house is attached to the main house via a large deck. A bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bath looks out into the exquisitely maintained garden. A larger bedroom with a king-sized bed opens onto a private terrace perfectly situated for enjoying morning coffee or lunch in the garden. The third bedroom features eight bunk beds which are modeled after the Pullman coaches. Each features its own lighting, ladder and storage space. Kids love this room! The guest house also includes a kitchen with eat-in counter and a washer/dryer. At the front of the house you will enjoy a library filled with books, Internet access (wifi is also available) and an entertainment system. An independent second guest cottage is located across the garden. This garden cottage contains a queen-size bed, two bathrooms, a living room and utility kitchen all with large windows looking out into the garden. An outdoor dining table and four chairs are under an arbor and two Adirondack chairs create a quiet corner for reading or contemplating the garden and its proliferation of birds and butterflies. The large swimming pool is flooded with sunshine and surrounded by trees and umbrellas for those who prefer shade. A poolside Jacuzzi spa and pool house with the two bathrooms invite long days filled with poolside fun. A gas Weber grill makes outdoor meal preparation easy and the large teak tables and chairs afford comfortable outdoor dining through the day and evening. (The property also features a shared tennis court which is available by pre-arranged appointment.) This peaceful vineyard property offers a truly rural experience while being less than fifteen minutes away from the Napa Valleyâs world-class restaurants and luxurious spas.
