Near white water rafting and many other recreational activities. Country Road Cabin Amenities - Country Road Cabin has a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, toaster, coffee maker) color TV/VCR with Dish Network cable, wireless, telephone, ENCLOSED FRONT DECK WITH HOT TUB and gas grill, gas burning fireplace and central heating/cooling. We also furnish extra amenities such as coffee, tea, filters, sugar, creamer, paper towels, etc and provide all bed linens and towels. Lots of Activities - There's lots of outdoor activities to enjoy in our area and we will be happy to provide information and help set up any activity needed. Check out the New & Gauley River whitewater rafting and float specials with our other company Class-VI Mountain River. There's also our brand new tree canopy zip line adventure (Treetops on the Gorge) horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, golf, 2 nearby state parks, ATV tours and boating at nearby Summersville Lake. NEW for 2010 New River Gorge Bridge Walk tours. Nearby Attractions - Cabin is available year round and are located in a scenic wooded area near National and State Recreation Areas (New River Gorge, Gauley River, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park and Carnifex Ferry Battleground State Park) and near two great ski resorts. Winterplace Ski Resort is only 50 minutes away by four-lane highway and the best whitewater rafting in the East is only minutes away at Adventures Mountain River. There, you can also find adventure trips that combine whitewater rafting on the New River and Gauley River with mountain biking, rock climbing, horseback riding, hiking, and other fun activities.
