Of Idaho's 187 lakes, Coeur d'Alene is one of the biggest, and out of its 135 miles of beautiful shoreline, Arrow Point Resort is situated on a prime patch of it. Just 18 miles (about a half-hour) by car to downtown Coeur d'Alene, and 1.2 miles across the lake by boat (time: a lot less!), you'll enjoy all the amenities that come with this resort as well as the natural beauty and recreational opportunities that abound in Northern Idaho. After a fun day out on the lake or exploring the sites, settle into this roomy condo (about 1,260 sq. ft.). Fix yourself a drink and relax in a luxurious setting that includes lake and mountain views, gas fireplace, plush seating, free WIFI, cable TV, and a DVD player for a quiet night with your favorite movie. Weather permitting, enjoy the lake breezes from the table out on the covered patio. Your stay also comes with access to the community clubhouse, swimming pool, volleyball court, and, for golfers, a boat shuttle for tee times provided by Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf. With two bedrooms, this lovely condo sleeps six comfortably. In the master bedroom, you'll find a luxurious king bed. The second bedroom has a queen. With two full bathrooms - beautifully appointed with earthen tiles and double sinks - you won't have to wait long to get ready for that night out or for bed. This condo's well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to make a great meal! In addition to a big double fridge (with built-in water dispenser), plenty of counter and cabinet space, a microwave, coffeemaker and dishwasher, you'll find plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Serve your meals in the dining room on the big glass table with room for four. There's also room at the counter for a quick bite or sipping wine as you chat with the chef in your group. A picnic area is within easy walking distance for those lazy summer nights when you don't feel like doing the dishes! The Coeur d'Alene Lake region is filled with gorgeous landscapes and myriad things to do. The lake, of course, is a mecca for boat owners. There are also 87 parks and 47 hiking trails. Intrepid cyclists can tackle the 72-mile paved "Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes" bike path. And there's no place better for wildlife watching! Come in December and January and you just might see the spectacular sight of bald eagles feeding on the kokanee salmon that come to the area to spawn. Other sport fish in the lake include northern pike, crappie, channel catfish and bullhead. Take a brunch cruise on the lake, or just a drive along Highway 97 that follows the coastline. Coeur d'Alene National Forest, Coeur d'Alene Parkway State Park, Heyburn State Park and Old Mission State Park are all within a few miles of the lake. Then there's Downtown Couer d'Alene where you'll find shopping and dining with over 100 merchants in a six block area! Or, check out the local artists at the local Art Walk or, in season, enjoy a musical at the Couer d'Alene Summer Theatre.
