Laurel Creek Retreat is secluded and overlooking a beautiful little creek while remaining convenient to the area attractions. Two homes are included -- the larger main house with all the trimmings and the smaller, simpler cottage offer a combination of group interaction along with a chance to spread out. Being located about four miles from the New River Gorge Bridge makes access to rafting, biking, hiking, climbing, horseback riding, zip-lines, fishing, swimming, dining, and shopping a breeze. Decks and a patio offer views of the creek and surrounding woods while keeping you just steps away from all the conveniences of home. Relax in the private hot tub and have a cookout on the gas grill. Walk inside the main house to enjoy a full kitchen, great room, and dining room in an open floor plan. Relax and entertain with a flat screen TV, satellite reception including sports channels, DVD, stereo, and wireless Internet. The main house has a somewhat flexible floor plan. There are three permanent bedrooms plus a den which can be a bedroom plus a loft for a total of five bedrooms. A sixth bedroom is in the separate cottage. Walk across the yard to the cottage for it's large deck along with living room (with full size pool table), bedroom, bathroom, and a smaller but full 2nd kitchen. (TV there too.) Bedroom and bathroom details: Bedroom #1 has a Queen, private access to a bathroom with a shower, no tub. Bedroom #2 has a Queen, private access to a bathroom with a shower, no tub. Den has a double futon, and this is a quality futon, by the way, with private / shared access to the master bath. Master bedroom has a King. You have to walk through the Den to get to the master bath or walk the length of the house to get to the main bath. The loft has a Queen. You have to walk down a staircase to access the main bath. The cottage is a separate building containing a bedroom with a bunk bed and a Queen, plus a day bed in a separate room. The bath in the cottage is shared.
