Description

This home is a totally-renovated 1910's Florida cottage, located on desirable Bay Street within the historic area of Ozona. The charm of the original architecture remains with all new infrastructure, systems and an open, contemporary interior. There are hardwood floors throughout, a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, a large master bedroom with attached laundry room and an amazing new bathroom. The bathroom offers double sinks, granite, oversized glass-enclosed shower and attached walk-in cedar closet. This cottage lives large and very comfortably. The large wrap-around front porch invites you to sit and relax...with a morning cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch or maybe an evening beverage. There are comfortable Adirondack chairs as well as a table with wicker chairs, with multiple ceiling fans to help keep you cool. The property is fenced in and lovingly landscaped, with a private back yard. Standing in front of the cottage, look down the block to the end of Bay Street and see the Gulf. Take an evening stroll down to see the sunset or area marinas. Walk in the other direction, on to Orange Street and you'll find some of the most popular (and fun) restaurants in the county, with indoor and outdoor seating. If it's exercise you're after, the Ozona neighborhood is perfect for walking, running or biking. You'll see lots of other folks out there too! Or you can hop on to the Pinellas Trail, just a short walk away. Ozona is ideally located to allow for a wide variety of interests and activities...many within just a few miles. If it's beach and water sports you want, the Dunedin Causeway and Honeymoon Island State Park are just down the road. The town of Dunedin offers many interesting shops and an amazing array of restaurants as well as a diverse, cultural environment. Tarpon Springs, a Greek fishing port just 5 miles north on Alt 19, is best known for its sponge docks but also has wonderful Greek restaurants and many shops. If you decide to venture just a bit further, you can reach St. Petersbury, Clearwater and Tampa all within 30-45 minutes. Orlando and DisneyWorld just 90 minutes away!
