Secure building--access to the building after hours by key only and access to your floor at all times, accessible only by occupants. Walk to everything!! Why drive when you can be a few blocks from all of the downtown Golden attractions. Easy walk to the campus of the Colorado School of Mines, Coors Brewery, Golden City microbrewery, the new Mountain Toad microbrewery (one block), the American Mountaineering Center, the Clear Creek History Park, Foothills Art Center, picnic areas, bicycle trails and other attractions, and all the shops, restaurants, and museums of historic downtown Golden. Three blocks to Golden Rec Center (swimming, gym, exercise equipment, etc.). Hiking, biking and mountain biking trails begin one block away. Tubing and kayaking on Clear Creek two blocks away. http://www.cityofgolden.net/play/recreation-attractions/trails/ A short drive to the Heritage Square Amusement Park, the Red Rocks Amphitheater, the Colorado Railroad Museum, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, and many other attractions. If you don't want to rent a car, there are shuttle buses for Denver International Airport and buses to Boulder, downtown Denver, and nearby shopping malls. If you bring a car, there is reserved space in the parking garage under the building. Winter sports--x/c skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing--are minutes away, 45 minutes to the closest downhill ski resort. Golden is a growing, historic town with many new restaurants, shops, art, and activities year-round. NOTE: We are taking reservations now for summer, 2015.
