If you have been fortunate enough to vacation at Emerald Isle, you know what a treat that is. But to vacation at 'The Point' in Emerald Isle is like ice cream on the cake! The upper living area and deck of The Oar House (located at 'The Point') provides the perfect spot for enjoying the stunning sunrises and sunsets that bookend the island. Relax on the covered deck, with plenty of seating for nature's spectacular shows. From the deck follow the private boardwalk to one of the most beautiful beaches around. Refresh the soul and renew the spirit while taking it all in...smell the salt air, feel the ocean breeze, you may even catch the dolphin at play! Children, young and old can enjoy sunbathing to body surfing or shelling to sand sculptures on the expansive beach. After a full day in the sun or taking in local attractions, refresh in the 16' X 32' pool. Life is Good! The main/upper lever of The Oar House provides 3 bedrooms (K, Q, Q) and 2 full baths as well as a napping/library room. The open concept living-dining-kitchen area, which separates the bedrooms, is perfect for family and friend gatherings. The lower level, with EXTERIOR ACCESS ONLY, offers additional beds (Q and T, T), full bath (shower only), a well equipped kitchenette, living area and a pool table. The 16' x 32' pool is located just steps from the covered deck adjoining the living area. Beach view is obstructed from this level due to the build up of sand dunes. The floor plan allows for lots of individual privacy while still being together as a group for meals, games or tv time. Both levels have cable TV with DVD player in the living area and wireless high speed internet access throughout. Ceiling fans are located in all bedrooms and living areas. The Oar House is locally maintained by Beach House Property Services should any issues arise that need immediate attention.
