Warning: this property often books solid! The grounds are a virtual mini-estate and sprawl over three lots with a dozen tall palm trees, five mesquite-trees, and ten citrus trees! Five awesome golf courses are within 2.5miles. There is a huge network of desert hiking/biking/walking trails a few blocks away. It's only a short 5 minute drive to hundreds of restaurants and 10 minutes to great shopping. The house wraps around a peaceful Spanish style courtyard with a sparkling pebbletec pool with a waterfall cascading over boulders. It has a sloped 'beach' entry, great for lounging and kids' games. Hang out in the poolside cabana: fans, poolside music controlled from your iDevice or CDs, watch TV and later clink glasses under warm ambient lighting or velvet darkness. Beside the cabana is a fantastic hot tub, 'always hot' and featuring tons of adjustable powerful massage jets and your choice of relaxation positions. Those who have stayed somewhere with a weak-jetted hot tub with that cycles its hot water into an pool after you've just waited an hour and paid to heat it will appreciate why this is unique. Take your drinks up to the roof deck for sunset appreciation time. Gaze out to the stark desert mountains across the road and out across the whole Coachella valley: notice you have a 360 view. Watch cool desert birds as they perch in the mesquite. The property is terrific for guests who need room to romp. There is a large grassy lawn with soccer net, badminton, smashball, croquet. Lots of room to throw the ball for Rover too, we are dog-friendly to most insurance-permisssble breeds. Pet fees may vary based on number of dogs and length of stay. The pool has a navy blue electric-operated pool cover on tracks recessed into the pool deck for keeping the pool warmer and cleaner during the desert's windy or cooler nights. We have a propane pool heater for cooler spells: ask for a quote for pool/spa heat based on season and duration. In the hottest part of the summer, running the waterfall at night helps keep the pool cooler than smaller pools that may overheat. This is a Mexican hacienda style home with a Southwest desert flair and oodles of CHARACTER! Here is your own entirely private 'La Quinta Resort' but... with kitchen, washer/dryer, private pool, private cabana, DEDICATED lounge chairs, your own music, private hot tub, and room to roam.
