Downhill Skiing/Snowboarding: We are within 15 minutes of 3 great ski areas - Indianhead, Blackjack and Big Powderhorn. Pick a different one each day! Plus Whitecap Mountain is 20 miles away and the Porcupine Mountains are one hour away. Snowmobilers: We are located on the midwests best snowmobiling trail system. Over 1000 miles of groomed trails make this a snowmobilers dream. Just hop on your sleds and take off, no trailering necessary. Cross Country Skiers can explore one of the finest groomed, tracked x-country ski trail systems in the midwest. Just 15 minutes away. The Upper level includes a full kitchen, bathroom, living room with sofa sleeper, cable tv and dvd, bedroom with king bed and bedroom with 2 twin beds. The Lower level is a walkout with sliding door and includes a bathroom, 1 bedroom with full size bed and a twin bed, plus a huge living room area with a sofa, loveseat, futon, twin bed and tv/cable, game table. We are closer than you think; only 4 hours from Minneapolis, 2 hours from Duluth, 5 from Milwaukee, 7 from Chicago. Keywords: Conveniently located on the snowmobile trail system of over 1000 miles.
