Built in a tranquil neighborhood near the beach, this private California family retreat is nestled in the town of La Jolla, just a few blocks from Windansea Beach and the Pacific Ocean. La Jolla is considered one of the most desirable parts of San Diego and the Village with its world class dining and shopping is just minutes away. Enter into an enclosed front courtyard with plenty of room for kids (or adults!) to play. The landscaping surrounding the home is lush with beautiful tropical palms, and you'll find lounge chairs and a hammock; you'll feel like you're on vacation from the moment you arrive in your own Zen retreat! As you walk into the home, you'll feel the warmth and style of a contemporary and nicely furnished home. Features of the main floor include: comfortably furnished living room with a fireplace and flat screen HDTV. Between the living room and kitchen is an open dining area where you can plan your activities and share stories of your favorite San Diego sights. The gourmet kitchen features a gas range, dishwasher, built in refrigerator, microwave and apron sink, all surrounded by beautiful slab granite counters and offset by clean white hardwood cabinetry. Off the main living area there is a bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower and full-size washer and dryer. Adjacent is another dining area that can also be used as an office for the busy executive who needs to connect with the office back home. Step up the wide spiral staircase that leads up to master 2 suites with their own bathrooms. The main master suite has a walk in closet, and the bathroom has a steam shower for the ultimate in relaxation!
