This beautiful lodge is all new, fully furnished and situated on 200 feet of Island Lake frontage. Island Lake is a 352 acre lake located in Iron county between Mercer and Hurley WI. The setting is very private and serene with well maintained grounds and a beautiful view. There is a large firepit area with log benches for smors and more. A real Northwoods experience. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, with queen size beds, and 2 full bathrooms. The livingroom is spacious with 2 fold out sofa sleepers. You will have many opportunities to enjoy and explore nature and recreation at it's best. Relax in the cozy livingroom by the fireplace taking in the beautiful lake view and sounds of nature. You will hear the call of the Loon, see and active Eagles nest along with possible sighting of bears, wolves, deer, fox, bobcat, and maybe a Moose. Island Lake offers come of the best fishing(Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye,Bass, and Pan fish),boating, tubing,water-skiing, and swimming. ATVing, snowmobiling and hunting are right outside the door, no trailering necessary. There is plenty of parking room for trailers. Iron County provides almost 200 miles of trails for ATVing and 350 miles for snowmobiling. Four ski hills and challenging golf courses are just a short distance away. Hurley area features more than 50 waterfalls . Take a short trip to see the shores of Lake Superior. Snowmobiles,ATVs,Pontoon boats,& Jet ski rentals are available locally. A pier ,row boat,canoe,paddle boat, and fishing boat are available to all our guests. A 25HP electric start motor for the fishing boat is available to rent.
