On Florida's Treasure Coast, Casa de Dolphin, Three bedroom, 1900 sq ft. two bath home on large lot with waterway behind. Cathedral ceilings, screened-in patio with heated pool and spa. Walk the quiet neighborhood, or ride the bicycles. The home has comfortable central air conditioning. OK to borrow our golf clubs. We call our home Casa de Dolphin because the home is tastefully decorated in bottle-nose dolphin décor. Fishermen and tour boat operators agree that the Sebastian River and Intercoastal waterway is a playful Dolphin paradise. Master bedroom has comfortable large King bed, and large private bath, (shower is disability friendly) Other two guest bedrooms have queen beds, and a central shared bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry facility. Friends that visit our home, say its warm and cozy, yet open and light, very Florida. The split floor plan allows privacy, (master bedroom on one end, guest bedrooms on the other). Layout is great for entertaining, or spending time with your family. Master bedroom has access to the spa. BBQ and eat out on the lanai, with a view of the waterway behind. We live on a quiet street, and have no homes on same side neighboring lots. Load up the kids, the beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sun-screen, your 5 minutes from the beach. Feel like being lazy, or reading a good book? Open the triple sliding doors, set the pool to 86 degrees, put out the deck chairs, and turn on the stereo. Itâs about as good as it gets. PS. Youâll have to make your own margaritas. Our Neighborhood: On the East Coast of Florida, in the middle of the state. 5 minutes from the beach, quiet residential area. A little over an hour to Disney/Theme parks, Daytona Beach, and Space Center, minutes to a large shopping mall, boutique shops, and factory outlet stores. Live oaks, egrets, pelicans, a river, a lagoon, a seashore, the abundant natural beauties of Sebastian are in large part why we love it. Fish our backyard waterway for bass. The Sebastian area is rich in history, great local seafood and waterfront dining, plus warm walks or bike along the Intercoastal Waterway. Sebastian inlet is great for fishing, and water sports. Lots of reasonable priced Golf nearby. Sebastian has hard-to-find Florida small town flavor. Free concerts in the park during the spring. Park your car and enjoy walking or bike the river front. Sebastian's Working Waterfront showcases the rich cultural history of the fishing industry. The fishing industry is alive and thriving today, along with plenty of water based activities, quaint river views and waterfront restaurants that offer up the local fish of the day! Whether its grouper, flounder, snapper, clams, Florida lobster, or blue crabs, you're sure to get your taste of fresh Florida fish! Four great over-the-water restaurants just 3 miles north on US Hwy 1. Mulliganâs, Captain Butcher's, Captain Hiramâs, and Squid lips. Enjoy live music in the evening at Captain Hiramâs Sand Bar. Wabasso Beach, 5 minutes from our home............ Along Highway A1A, at the intersection with State Road 510, is the Green Cabin Wreck, off the entrance to Wabasso Beach. As with all beaches within the radius of the shipwreck sites, it is against state law to hunt for treasure in the water, but metal detecting on the beach is a common activity here. You can visit two treasure museums, including Mel Fisher's in Sebastian. Fishing boat rentals, pontoon boats and jet ski rentals are available 5 minutes up Hwy 1. For the more adventuresome, our small Sebastian Airport, located on the Sebastian river and coast, features World Famous skydiving and para sailing.
