Maximum of eight in the cabin at any one time and no more than 6 adults (those over the age of 18) staying at any one time. Please look elsewhere if your party is larger than 8. Our wallhanging as you go to the lower level says it all: 'Cabin Rules--Welcome to the good life, where the rules are short and sweet. No schedules, no deadlines, no dress code. We keep it simple. Take time to rest, relax & renew. Breathe deep, make s'mores and spend time enjoying the great outdoors. It's the perfect time to hike and explore.' Whether you want to chill out or be active or both, this homey, comfortable 'home-away-from-home' cabin, located on 7 wooded acres with 200-plus footage on Upper Buckatabon, is perfect any time of the year. You'll love the spectacular sunrises and lake views from the dining area and living room. And the cabin feel permeates everywhere, from the decor to the pine walls and ceilings. Beds: king in master and queen in second main-floor bedroom, two twin beds in lower level bedroom, plus a fold-out couch and a cot. Full bathroom located on each level. Walk-out lower level. Rec room has game table, bar, TV and plenty of space. Lots of closet space. New deck surrounds three sides of the cabin. Fireplace on main level. Woodburner in lower level rec room. Make your own meals in the fully furnished kitchen or enjoy nearby restaurants. Storage area in lower level perfect for fishing gear and has sink for cleaning fish. Two-car detached garage. Cabin feel throughout with pine interior walls. Although there's no sandy beach for building sand castles, there's shallow water with sandy bottom where the kids can play while an adult watches on the pier. No weeds. If you're seeking privacy, this is the place. A wooded area/land separtes the cabin and the house on the left (which is about 1/2 block away) and a hill hides the cabin from the house on the right. Located just 8 1/2 miles from Eagle River. Ideal place to escape. Bring your own boat or rent a small fishing boat with motor from Bauer's Dam for just $175/week or rent a pontoon boat from Dave just down the road for $75/half day, $150/day or $700/week. Contact info provided. Lake Buckatabon is one of the premier musky lakes in Northern Wisconson and has great walleye and bass fishing as well. You can even catch a few big ones off the pier. Lots of family activities nearby in Eagle River, St. Germaine and the UP. This cabin has been in our family since 1985 and is now our retreat. Krueger Cabin is available from midMay through October.
