Our three bedroom, plus sleeping loft, cabin is nestled in a wooded area within walking distance to the quaint town. It is located on a fishing lake with access to the Manitowish river. The damn from Rest lake flows into Vance Lake which makes the catching of Musky and Walleye even more plentiful. It is located within snowmobile and bicycle trails and is one hour and twenty minutes to Madeline Island, 45 minutes to majestic water falls and Michigan ski resorts, Porupine mountains and Ironwood, Michigan. We have fine restaurants, including Little Bohiemia where the Dillenger 'Public enemy' was filmed. Cabin own an award for the most beautiful Holiday Home buildt in 2002 The view out toward the lake is breathtaking, only state owned land can be seen where only wildlife resides, bike trails and cross country ski trails. There is a family of eagles who are often seen down near the lake and a pair of loons that can be heard across the water. We also have a dozen Trumpetor swans that hang around, before they do into next lake, called Sturgern Lake, Black bear may come out at night to raid the bird feeder. They will run away if they sense you are present Keywords: cabin is located in two acres of woods with a long private driveway, two blocks to town, to post office toy store, soda grill, grocery store, wine tasting store, gift shops restaurants, bars, damn which flows into Vance Lake. The lake is located in front of row of vacation homes on 30-30 Road and extends behind the main business's from the post office to and beyond the Tower Road Bar and Restaurant. It has access to Sturgeon Lake and the Manitowish River. It is a perfect lake for small motor boats, canoes, paddle boats and floating around on water rafts over to the big rock and clearing on the state owned unspoiled woods Three new kayaks were added to the cabin for the use of the guests. .
