The four bedroom home is built in the classic Hawaiian mauka - makai (mountain - ocean) fashion. It is one room wide with 10 foot high ceilings designed to capture the sea breeze during the day and the mountain air at night. The shady indoor and outdoor lanais provide an extraordinary view of the ocean and the Kona Coast. With modern amenities, the atmosphere of the beach house is little changed from the 1940's and 50s. Two bedrooms have king beds, one has a queen and one has 2 twins. There is a roomy, comfortable living room with large flat-screen TV, a large dining room and comfortable lanai where we spend most of our time. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and service for 20. The large lawn has room for your wedding reception or a good game of croquet, touch football or volleyball. Free wi-fi and telephone to US and Canada. When rental is combined with the Seaside Zen Cottage (446243) the property is ideal for weddings, family reunions or gathering of good friends.
